Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)

    Optimize archive on Context Menu
    W

I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.

Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption

I looked around a bit, but didn’t see anything on this. Is it possible to make Java archives (JAR files) from scratch? Or even better, make executable JAR files. Those who work with Java would know what this is about. Is this possible or on the request line? Thanks!

I forgot about this post from a year ago, and no replies.

Is this answered somewhere else or does no one know the answer?

At the moment, PA only reads JAR files.

In theory it is on the “request line” - because this thread is on the wishlist.

Normally, there is no response (from Conexware) on wishlist threads.

… but currently PA adds files to the existing .jar archive like to the standart .ZIP

If creating .jar file as well as .war and .ear file could be added, it is pretty convenient.

I tried that. First zip everything and rename it to .jar. However, when I deploy that .jar file on to IBM WebSphere application server, it doesn’t recognize it. ALZip from altools.net truely support generating .jar file and that file is recognized.
