latest version:
http://dl.powerarchiver.com/2016/powarc160060.exeIt was available via beta patchbeam since yesterday. I suggest to everyone who wants to have latest version to set PB to check it daily in Config.

That is the first time I have ever got a beta via Patchbeam. Long may it continue:).

something like fast ring in Windows 10 in the future? Updates 2-3 times per month (after final is released)?

I would personally have no problems with that. For as long as I have known about the beta option (years IIRC) I have set it and never got a beta that way.
IMHO if it is not used, it should be removed ;) .Regards

as i said, we are thinking on doing it like Win10 from now on, with fast ring being “betas” and slow ring being “official” releases via Patchbeam

The only reason I made my last post was to wonder why there was a setting for beta releases and why it was never used. I have a thing about pointless settings in GUIs  .

i know… we are finally making use of it. I am not sure if we should rename it to something else though.
I like the idea of Slow/Fast ring in Windows 10, but it is kind of hard to translate to 30+ languages and especially at first glance.
However Microsoft did popularize the naming so it may be more understandable now.
With PowerArchiver 2016, we have made the changes that allow us to publish weekly updates for instance when needed. Basically same thing we have been doing on forums since .33 was initially announced up until now with latest being .60.
Any ideas, anyone?

Thanks everyone!
