@Virtual_ManPL:
Sorry for my bad English
Well, you could start with the PowerArchiver help files or even the features page -
http://www.powerarchiver.com/features/
and you would see that most of the popular ones you list are already supported. Of the popular ones that are missing - they are propriety and require licensing (e.g. ace, rar, sit compression). For the other non-supported formats, please could you explain WHY that particular format should be supported. If you have a specific private need - then use the format specific utility.
Experimental and Beta formats should NOT be supported by a commercial product (rk, paq variants etc).
It is not accurate (or even useful) to say XX supports more formats than YY - so XX is better.Note: a lot of “game formats” are actually just zip files :D

OK. I know, but decompression tool for sit it free (I think) ;)
Here you have source code for it  http://ftp.linux.cz/pub/tex/CTAN/archive-tools/unstuff/For the other non-supported formats, please could you explain WHY that particular format should be supported. If you have a specific private need - then use the format specific utility.
I want advenced compression options for
.7z
(add dictionary size 100-900KB for BZip2, and for PPMd add dictionary size 1-1536MB and word size 2-32 words, and for LZMA add dictionary size 64KB-128MBMB and word size 8-273 words and add BCJ2 compression method like IZArc 3.6.1260)because I choose the best method compresion, dictionary&word size for me
.bh (add choose compression method Deflate, Fuse and BZ2) like above
.cab (add Quantium method) sometimes better than LZX
.jar because I dont want to rename about one hundred packes to .zip ;)
.kgb (add options to SFX archive) (much better compression than .7z)(best in the wolrd :D)
http://kgbarchiver.sourceforge.net/?lang=en
http://sourceforge.net/projects/kgbarchiver/
see it :D
only medium, but it have Extreme nad Maximum Compresion :p
http://kgbarchiver.sourceforge.net/en/tests.php.lzh (add SFX, because its usefull thing)
.pim (another better compression than .7z, have very high compression ratio for media formats, and its very usefull)
http://www.encode.ru/.sqx (add SFX,dictionary size 32-4096kB, multimedia & EXE compression, soild archive, TUGZip 3.4.0.0 & Squeez support this) (good compresion for data and media files)
http://www.sqx-archiver.org/download.html.uha (another better compression than .7z)
ftp://ftp.elf.stuba.sk/pub/pc/pack/uharc06b.zip
http://www.klaimsoft.com/winuha/
http://filecompress.altervista.org/
http://www.brhack.net/.yz1 (good compression for images in .jpg)
.zz (better than .zip and .rar)
http://debin.net/zzip/download.php#zzipExperimental and Beta formats should NOT be supported by a commercial product (rk, paq variants etc).
It is not accurate (or even useful) to say XX supports more formats than YY - so XX is better.I dont know that, the .rk and .paq is beta formats :p
Note: a lot of “game formats” are actually just zip files :D
Good to hear that :D

For version 10.00 you are able to create decompression plugins for formats (e.g. .sit, .kgb, .rk and so on) not supported by PA.
For future version - we will probably have support for compression plugins:)
-
p.s. doesnt KGB take like an month to compress 100 MB of data? You could go on vacation and when you come back,it still wouldnt be done :-)
-
I installed KGB Commpression Utility and I was amazed how slow and poor it was on compressing files! and no way did it beat 7z!
I had it for a day and uninstalled it! and no way would I recommend or ask PA to include such a code to be implemented.
-
JAR - Isn’t this already supported (Java Archives)?
SQX - Plug-in supported by PA 2007(10) format exists
UHA, ZZ - Still beta
BH, CAB, YZ1 - Format no longer under development
PIM - Don’t know this and your link isn’t working (for me).
7z - If you need that variety of setting use 7-zip, PA only needs to offer most generally useful (e.g. best speed or max compression).
Note: 7z SFX is in PA 2007(10)
KGB - Again, could/should be done via plug-in, if someone wants to create one :p -
there is nothing wrong with having gazillion formats… thats why there will be plugins :-).
-
OK, my mistake, I add too much shi… (bad;))&old formats :p (yes KGB is veryyyyy slowww , in the maximum compression)
.7z OWNS!!! :D
but genaraly I only want that, the PA use in the best compression ratio (Ultra method) in .7z format
method compression: LZMA (I think PA already use this:p)
dictionary size: 64KB - 128MB for dictionary (PA choose the max mem in my comp, I know that 128MB dictionary use 1375MB for compression)
word size: 273 words (for best compression ratio, but I dont know how many PA have this)because I test 7Zip 4.43 (LZMA,64MB dictionary_,273 words, soild archive) and PA2006 9.63.02(Ultra,soild)
and I saw that, the 7Zip 4.43 better compresed .7z format (1,5%).
I test 708MB with data,pictures(jpg,bmp),music(mp3,wav),some video clipsPlease change this options for better compresion ratio like 7Zip:D_

in PA help
Things to know about 7-Zip (and its shortcomings)Due to its strong compression settings, 7-Zip at Ultra setting will take up a large amount of memory - 369 MB (34 MB for decompression)! If you use 7-Zip’s Maximum compression setting, memory usage will go down to 84 MB (10 MB for decompression) and if you use Normal setting, 7-Zip will use 27 MB of your memory and need only 4 MB for decompression.
–-------------------------
Hmm…I think PA use small dictionary for better compability with old PC …
And you can use large dictionary size in 7-zip if use virtual memory(pagefile)_
