Can you include .3MF to the list of re-compressible formats? Its structure is similar to MS Office 2007 documents and Open Document Format. It is a ZIP Deflate archive with XML data and some JPG, and/or PNG pictures inside. Otherwise, if I try to compress .3MF it bearly makes it smaller unless I recompress .3MF to the Store setting then it makes it a lot smaller.
Wish they all would move to 7zip ZSTD in the first place so that the optimized file size with FileOptimizer would be 50% of the ZIP Deflate version. And there would be no extra compression needed :)
I noticed that the option to add the optimize archive function to the context menu is missing on Windows 10.
Opening each archive with the interface in order to click it becomes tedious with many files.
Same for others functions like Remove Archive Encryption
Button to open the extract folder

Hi
Just wanted to say top work on a great product. I’ve been using it for years for all my zip and rar needs :)
Anyway one thing that I think would make it better (for me anyway) is to have a button that will open the last extraction folder in explorer so that you can access those files you have just extracted. (I did have a quick look for this feature in the app and help but couldn’t find anything about it, so I thought I’d suggest it here)
Cheers

There are several options on how to do this, easiest one would be to minimize PA to tray and then when alert pops out, you will get an option to click on an link and go to folder that was used.
thanks,

I’ll give that a try, is there any way of making it automatic? Sometimes the decompress happens that quick i don’t get chance to click the minimize to tray button. And I’m not gonna request that the decompress is made slower so i always get chance to press it ;)

there is actually, go to the PA> Config> Shell Extensions> and check “Open folder after extracting” checkbox!
thanks,

Maybe - work the other way round?
Use explorer shell/context menu (instead of opening archive in PA) then just select “extract here” or “extract to {archive name as foldername}” -
Thanks for that tip, I’ll make use of shell extensions more now :)
Cheers
